Vincent Van Gogh : Resurrection

Vincent had always wondered about death and resurrection.
Copying Rembrant’s work, just before leaving Saint Rémy, he represented himself (it was in fact his last autoportrait), under the features of a Lazare brought back to life, apparently striving to get up. He’s surrounded by two panic-stricken, almost frightened women: “ I made three figures who are in the background of the etched Lazare : the dead and his two sisters. The cave and the corpse are purple yellow white. The woman who takes the hanky from the risen from the dead man’s face has a green dress and orange hair, the other has black hair and wears striped clothes in green and pink. Behind them, a country, blue hills, a yellow rising sun”.
Was it him, the “corpse” and the “risen from the dead”?
